I used to hate Mondays something fierce. It was hard to want to get out of bed. Then, I discovered that I had the ability to love Mondays if I changed my mindset. A year later I was able to start my own business and leave that job behind, but the shift in mindset helped me thrive instead of simply survive in the job I was in.
You may be in a place where you don’t love your job. The state our country is in causes stress that many aren’t aware of, and that may be affecting you more than you realize. You may be working remotely and feel disconnected. Or if you are an entrepreneur, you may feel stuck and not in a creative frame of mind.
When you have inspiration in front of you, it helps to change your mindset and focus. And often, it is your mindset that stops you from living life fully.
Here are 5 quotes that I have printed out that inspire me daily.
- “It is our attitude at the beginning of a difficult task which, more than anything else, will affect its successful outcome.”-William James
- “You can’t go back and change the beginning, but you can start where you are and change the ending.” –C.S. Lewis
- “Limit your “always” and your “nevers.”- Amy Poehler
- “You do not find the happy life. You make it.” -Camilla Eyring Kimball
- “Everybody dies, but not everybody lives.” – A. Sachs
Wherever you are at on this Monday, would you be encouraged that today you have the ability to shift your mindset, change your thoughts, and ultimately change the way you feel.
